[mythtv] using GNU configure

I for one am stuck in QT hell at the moment, so any insight that
automake/autoconf can give me as to what is wrong
would be more than welcome.
Being a freebsd user, and using linux only on occasion, I'm on my 30th
install now as I try all different manners of packages, and cvs compiles.
This is woody i'm using as a base, but just so many errors, dependancy
issues and the a libc6 error, geez :)
I'm currently downloading KnoppMyth at the moment, in the hopes that a
quick look at that strucute will help me figure out what package is
causing the problems.
