Personally, I'm willing to live with chopping to the nearest GOP.
Usually I'm cutting out 60-300 seconds of crap; I'm willing to live
with 0.5-1 second of leftover in the result.  Also, cutting to the
nearest GOP should make it easier to write to a video DVD, no?
