[mythtv] DVB: playback and live TV

1, 2 and 9 are the only ones listed when I run 'thread apply all bt full' as 
mentioned in the documentation. I'm running "GNU gdb 5.3-22mdk", as supplied 
with Mandrake 9.1.

I've just tried, but I didn't manage to get anything more informative than my 
previous message. I guess I'm not quick enough. :-) Is there a way to pause 
execution at the point when it starts to play the video? I've only done 
debugging in simpler single-threaded applications, and there it was possible 
to set breakpoints just before the point of interest. Is this possible with 
mythtv? If so, where would be an appropriate point? I've got zero C++ 
experience, so I'm clueless about what's going on.
