[mythtv] mythbackend maxing out my cpu

Hello all,
	I seem to have a problem with mythbackend  I have tried 0.8, cvs from about a 
week ago, and cvs from last night.  Mythbackend uses 95-99% of 1 of my cpu's 
(dual proc athlon MP 1600+).  It never used to do this- usage was always 
closer to the 60% mark.  I have tried w/ and w/o the high quality stuff in 
the new cvs to no avail.  Any ideas on where I should start with this 
problem?
