Yes, that's true. I tried to allow to redisplay it in the unhide section 
(currently containing only |UpdateOSD()|), that's what I referred to in 
my first post, but didn't know how (I tried a few ways, but all cause 
freezes).

That Pause bar covers a part of the image, if I want to have a still 
image (for screenshot, visual examination or whatever), and I had no way 
to prevent that, that's why I needed that EndPause() there.
