I just installed a second tuner about 15minutes ago and discovered this
same problem.
But as soon as I bring up the PiP window, video and sound in the main
window becomes jerky. If I pause either window for a bit, the other
plays perfect. When I un-pause, it goes jerky for a second or two, then
both windows play perfect for about 5-10secs, then they both go back to
jerky motion/sound.
My Setup:
XP2400
256mb ram
WinFast TV2000 capture cards (2)
Geforce4 MX440 TV out.
Recording 640x480, bitrate 3000, Max: 1 Min:4 Diff: 3
MythTV 0.8
Here is a vmstat output while PiP is jerky. As you can see, lots of idle
CPU.
