[mythtv] Channel changing Bugs...

Personally (and that is what it really comes down to, personal preference) I like having to hit enter for the same reason Ben mentions. If the entry times out without receiving an enter keypress the selection just goes away. But, ultimately, I'm happy as long as I can select channel 8000 in the EPG :)

personally, I don't either way proposed. sometimes I accidentally hit a number key, then myth changes when it times out. since there is no previous channel, I have to find what channel I was watching again. Can be a bit annoying.

Why not use them both and make it a configuration option?

I think the current timeout is perfect.

Thanks, I guess I never submitted my version of this patch. How do
people
feel about another version of this that changes the channel as soon as
the
input is sufficient to disambiguate channel names?
Personally, I think that would be the best solution.
