[mythtv] mythbackend SEGV's while pausing livetv

hmm, i dont know what's happening, but i've tried again and again
since sending the first email, and now it seems to be working OK.

when it did core, the video was jerky just before stopping all together.
could it be that the backend is getting killed off due to lack of some
resource?  such as cpu, or I/O?
