That's how it's supposed to work.  There's probably a bug with mp3s, or you 
might not have enough ID3 tags for it all to get identified properly 
internally.  I don't have any mp3s, and all my oggs/flac files are tagged 
properly, so you're going to be pretty much on your own if you want to fix 
things.
