so hmm I run mythfrontend clicked on mythtv then on watch tv, and poof machine restarts ??? any ideas... very confusing.. It installed ok, things seem to be running (not sure if I have correct video source but works in xawtv, not sure if I can check which one is the right source) thanks, dGV ps as for mythfilldatabase not quite sure how to add that code to export error.
