[mythtv] voodoo 3500 (very newbie)

Thanks to a tremendous amount of help from Lance King, I was able to
get the voodoo 3500 tv drivers compiled and installed!  Unfortunately,
I can't get any picture, besides snow.  It appears that there is some
reception, I can see just a bit of picture behind the snow (and it always
looks like the same channel, regardless of where I've tuned)

Anyone run into this?
