[mythtv] QMake Error on Compile

When I compile I get an error: 

/bin/sh: line1: qmake: command not found

I followed the instructions to a T, and then later installed perl-devel
when I was having trouble with the install (that fixed the XMLTV
install).however, when I made my mythtv.sh file, I accidentally entered
the directory as "user" instead of "usr" I fixed it later, and when I
type "set" it seems to come up ok now, but could this be causing my new
problem?
