Yes, but, there is currently no direct lirc support for it....
It's actually a bit of a hassle to get working on machine with another mouse, 
but it does work and would probably be a good item for a machine without a 
mouse.

I am currently experimenting with lirc and the packard bell remote which I 
can get to launch xawtv, mythtv etc, but can't seem to get other keypresses 
passed to the respective program.
