[mythtv] Couldn't find Xv support, exiting

When I startup mythtv, audio comes on, a black window appears and then
disappears and the error message below appears. XawTv works perfectly.

Any suggestions as to what I should be looking at would be appreciated?

Where I can get further error log information?

What am I doing incorrectly?

Will my hardware work with mythtv?

Thanks
Peter
