[mythtv] No TV displayed

I have compiled/installed from CVS (and version 0.4). The programs
mythepg and  mythfrontend both work correctly (and look very slick I
might add), but mythtv doesn't show the TV. When I run it, no window is
even displayed on my monitor. TV does work in both avview, and xawtv
though.

I am using the GATOS drivers for my ATI AIW 7500 with kernel version
2.4.9, and XFree86-4.2.0.

Do I need to tell mythtv to use the monitor as the output device, or is

There are no error messages in XFree86.0.log
