Comment:

 This ticket is now extremely old, VDPAU support has been re-written and
 there have been many changes to decoding and playback, both in FFmpeg and
 MythTV.

 I cannot reproduce this issue with any of the multiple test files that I
 use using master/v31- so I am assuming this is fixed.

 If it is still a problem, please open a new ticket with a short sample.
