 dagnygren: Sorry I hadn't looked at this ticket recently. If you want to
 post to the mythtv users mailing list I can help with reverting that
 database schema. I did so in order to revert to 29.1...don't want to
 clutter this ticket.

 It's interesting that you're having issues on 64 bit. If there's any
 chance you could try any of the tests I did above, it's possible you may
 find what I did. In my case it doesn't appear to be caused by the newer
 version of ffmpeg, but rather something about the MythTV change that
 replaced the old ffmpeg calls to avcodec_decode_video2 with the two calls
 including avcodec_send_packet. In my case, much newer versions of ffmpeg
 that I compiled ARE able to decode the problem videos using their
 hw_decode as a test, which also uses those newer calls.
