 With Raspbian stretch versions later than 2017-11-29, playback is jerky.
 Using the 2017-11-29 version and doing no updates works fine.
 Unfortunately, the PI3 B+ does not work with versions earlier than 2018 so
 owners of that model cannot simply downgrade to the earlier version of
 Raspbian.
