 It is a deal breaker for my mythtv not to allow my tv play the recordings.
 My wife would rightly throw me out of the house and the backend would land
 on top of me.  I had to reinstall an earlier version (27.2) to get access
 to everything.  Perhaps a separate server that translates from the UPnP
 ideal spec to the less precise but more functional hardware.  When we get
 a new TV we can then manually (individually) disable and remove the
 transitional server.
