While that combination should be compatible, there could be some corner
cases that aren't.

This issue was happening every 24 to 48 hours for me -- that was before I
commented out PurgeIdleConnections.

What library client do you recommend for libqt5sql5 (5.7.1+dfsg-3+b1) /
mysql server (5.6.30-1) ?
Or do you recommened upgrading to mardiadb-client / mariadb-server
(10.1.23-9+deb9u1).
I'm just wondering if upgrade/install process will export all of the
databases or if I will have to do that manually...
