 I have just disconnected my twin-tuner 704J usb device, which is several
 years old, and am using the PCTV290e again.  Reception of SD is flawless -
 but only 1 mux at any one time.  Haven't tried the HD here recently.

 Your easiest course of action might be to add a simple low-noise
 preamplifier as the first item in the aerial downlead.  It might help -
 but much depends on the specifics.

 to cause problems.
