Comment:

 I did already make some changes for the case where you use different video
 modes for playback. There were multiple bugs there (see #7408 #11363
 #13054).

 You mention: 'separate video modes' disabled; "Use GUI size for TV
 playback" and "Use fixed window size" enabled. - I would think that it
 would be best to turn off "Use GUI size for TV playback", because you want
 to use full screen. Does that help?

 I don't know if I can test this. What is the hardware setup and the
 playback profile setting?
