 Hey jyavenard, have you made any progress on this?  I've been a bit
 distracted the last few months, but I'm finally getting back around to
 this.

 Interesting thing to note here is that this only affects machines that
 support HEVC offloading, which I think is only available in Pascal and
 newer cards.
