 I removed the components that were installed using pip (pip uninstall). I
 installed the packages using apt

 python-future, python-requests, python-requests-cache

 got these versions (plus a lot of other things)
 * future (0.15.2)
 * requests (2.9.1)
 * requests-cache (0.4.10)

 Rebuilt with the latest source. I am back to the 403 error I had before.

 ttvdb.py -d -l en -a US -N Hannibal Aperitif

 Error message:

 DEBUG:requests.packages.urllib3.connectionpool:https://api.thetvdb.com:443
 "POST /login HTTP/1.1" 403 None
