 I will test it for a couple of days then commit it and create a new
 mythtv-light version.

 If I slow down to 0.5 everybody sounds like they are extremely bored and
 sleepy. If I speed up to 2.0 they are speaking so fast I cannot understand
 anything.

 With the changes I am testing it works best at small changes from 1.0,
 like 0.9, 0.8 or 1.1, 1.2. If you get too far from 1.0 the sound starts to
 deteriorate.

 What is your use case for the time stretch?

 What stretch factor would you expect to use?
