 Peter, I have one backtrace from 11/7 that's in
 QNetworkConfiguration::~QNetworkConfiguration().
 I haven't been able to duplicate it at will.

 And I'm running 16.10 (not in a VM.) Also, no "stack smashing detected"
 in the FE log.

 In my single case, it doesn't appear to be a problem
 at startup. BT and FE log attached.
