 Well...perception. It seemed very dismissive.

 1. Nvidia on 2 of the machines and Nouveau on the third. The main machine
 is currently using VAAPI (just did a fresh Ubuntu LTS install on the
 office computer and haven't set up Myth yet), but have tried other video
 modes (VDPAU didn't perform well for me for some reason) since upgrading
 to 0.28 several months ago.

 2. I couldn't find any differences. It's like the escape keypresses are
 completely ignored.

 3. I have both STOP and ESCAPE mapped to my remote (on different buttons);
 neither works. I have tried escape with a keyboard as well.

 4. All Ubuntu, all packages: 14.04 on two, 15.10 (until recently) on the
 other
