 Thanks for replying.  The schema updates should be correct.  They do the
 reight thing as far as I can tell in my test updates.  I don't have actual
 hardware, though, so I could easily be overlooking something.  One issue
 remains.  That is what to do with the open on demand option.  I'm waiting
 on input from other developers on how best to handle that.
