 Hi,

 I also have the problem that ESC and STOP keys don't work, either on
 keyboard or remote control. In TV playback or video playback I can skip to
 the end and wait for the recording to finish but in LiveTV I have to kill
 the frontend.

 Now on Mythtv 0.28 (when problems started). Have been using Mythtv on same
 PC with no problems since 0.23 in 2007. Running on Ubuntu 16.04.
