 Perhaps it's worth adding that the commit referenced in the title,
 v29-pre-59-gae5b452, included this:

 NOTE: Due to QtWebKit being removed in Qt 5.6, mythfrontend is not fully
 functional when built against this version. A redesign of mythuiwebbrowser
 class is needed in order to use new QtWebEngine to restore functionality.

 I was able to revert, but v29-pre-78-g1f8c275 has bumped the protocol and
 reversion will be more difficult.
