 MythTV 0.28 will support H.265 support in general. See #12393.

 MythTV should also support the new DVB-T2 HD standard in Germany. DVB-T2
 is not the same like DVB-T2 HD. DVB-T2 uses H.264 and is already used in
 some countries like UK, Northern Ireland, Italy, Finland, Sweden etc.
 DVB-T2 HD uses H.265 and will start 2016 in Germany.

 Currently there is not much technical information available for DVB-T2 HD:
