#12710: Playing zero length video file causes slow response

---------------------------------------------+-----------------------
I accidentally played a zero length MPG file on a remote frontend which
caused all frontends to appear to freeze. The backend was recording at
the time and completed the active record but failed to start the next
record.
In this condition the recorded videos list shows empty with zero space
available, also watch videos list will not populate.
To replicate, create an empty file. I used touch emtytest.mpg
attempt to play the empty file.
The last message in mythbackend.log was -
Apr 5 07:05:56 bonzo mythbackend: mythbackend[16784]: E ProcessRequest
fileringbuffer.cpp:309 (OpenFile)
FileRingBuf(/media/videos//series/emptytest.mpg): OpenFile(): File too
small (0B).
The UI responds very slowly when any database query seems to be required
but operates normally otherwise.
Restarting mythtv-backend restores correct operation.
