 libmythtv.140430.patch (Comment #7) patches v0.27.5 (commit ad97d2435230 -
 Jun 16, 2015). ATSC EIT Program Guide works quite well. I have used this
 patch for almost 17 months. With almost daily use I have noted about six
 title/description mismatches in that time. The patch is not perfect, but
 nearly so. No issues with this patch detected.

 I hope dekarl is happy and well.

 I have also noticed a race condition at times with mythbackend. I have
 seen code (where, I have forgotten) where developers attempted a fix. I
 think it could well be related to using EIT decoding but I have not had
 time to investigate.
