 I have some old recordings in my mythtv from 2007 that were recorded with
 my old Plextor PX-TV402U/NA USB hardware mpeg4 device.  (I now use a
 Hauppauge MPEG2.)  These recordings used to play back in Myth no problem.
 Somewhere 1-5 years back they stopped playing back.  Not sure what version
 caused the change.  There's no problem with my new (and old) recording
 with the Hauppauge card.

 Myth will try to play the nuv/mpeg4 recordings but will just put up a non-
 uniform grey screen that doesn't change, and (strangely) play back the
 audio ok.

 If I find the nuv files directly in my recordings directory, I can play
 them back no problem with mplayer.  The problem is just in myth.

 I get myth debug errors like:

 It would be nice to be able to watch the files in myth so I can weed
 through them (and possibly edit/transcode some).
