 I don't want to intrude here, but I do this 'quite often', although now
 usually with a DVB-T2-capable tuner and a recent 0.28-pre build.  Have you
 seen Ticket #10217, which now extends back several years?
 It might suggest something.  Otherwise details of Myth-version and tuner
 type might help.
