 I just looked at this and the cache that needs clearing is in
 ~/.cache/mythfrontend
 Set up in NAMthread::run
 in libmythtv/netstream.cpp

 After removing that cache the files i have play cleanly.
 It seems odd that the cache is not under .mythtv
