 Sorry, that doesn't solve the issue.

 I added some LOG()s to demonstrate.
 {{{
 tv_rec.cpp:936 (FinishedRecording) - fsize>=1000 allows previewgen.
 fsize=0.
 ...
 tv_rec.cpp:989 (FinishedRecording) - fsize<1000 disables commflag/xcode.
 fsize=0.
