 If you have set AutoCommercialSkip ( or notify)  then GET_FRAMES_WRITTEN
 is called continuously for any still recording file.

 On my setup that causes jitter and dropped frames. ( probably because of
 database blocking as described above ? )

 Setting TV Settings --> Playback --> Advert Skip --> Automatically skip
 adverts = "none" is a workaround.
