Comment:

 User reported issues were resolved after replacing some hardware, it was
 noted in IRC before this that certain processes e.g. mythfilldatabase and
 scheduling was taking an unusually long time to run - hours in the case of
 mythfilldatabase. This lead to the theory that a faulty hard drive was the
 root cause. This turned out to be the case.
