 Hmm.   Well maybe it isn't the Ceton utility or drivers itself.

 As I recall, the Ceton utility automatically sets up Windows Media Center
 (if installed) on the local machine.  Maybe it is Windows Media Center
 causing the issues?  (I should note, when I removed the Ceton utility, I
 also removed Windows Media Center from both machines using the add/remove
 windows features setting)

 As I have said before, I haven't had enough time to test to see if the
 issue is solved, but I feel like if it weren't, I should have run into a
 few broken recordings by now.   I ran into a bunch before removing the
 software from the two Windows machines that had it installed.

 OP:   Have you run into any more issues after uninstalling the Ceton
 utility?
