 The DB is on a ext3 filesystem to remedy barrier problems:
 /dev/sda3 on / type ext3 (rw,errors=remount-ro)

 It happens on a SSD (prod) as also on a disk (dev).

 Everything was fine in 0.26, also livetv worked perfectly. The problem
 started with 0.27.

 It has something to do that for an in progress recording it uses the state
 WatchingRecording vs. WatchingPreRecorded for finished recordings.
