 Same thing here, Ubuntu 12.10. Mythfronted version: fixes /0.26
 [v0.26-171-gbfd2408]. It started when I upgraded Mythtv to 0.26 from 0.24
 and Ubuntu to 12.10 from 12.04 which ran perfectly.
