 Glad to be able to contribute.
 Sorry I failed to realise the cost of post-inc & as there are no
 "continue" in the for loops..pre-inc is better.

 I have been running back-to-back recordings (with 2 min extra on ends)
 just fine..

 I have tweaked the patch a little..
 H264:
 - was not honouring the SEQ start flag; always waited for seen_SPS.
 - parser has pre-increments

 MPEG2:
 Reading H262 standard...recordings should start on a sequence header.
 - setup same logic as H264.

 IMO the dtvrecorder logic is much clearer & could still be reduced a bit
 more..

 All my H264 samples still play okay inc 16:9 -> 4:3 transitions.
 Have not tested mpeg2 video recording.

 I'll have to try with demo/dummy recorder from the one mpeg2 file I have
 or find a willing tester..
