 Just wanted to mention that this problem still persists on
 v0.26-rc2-34-g15a2839-dirty which I updated to on Sep 23 2012. I have
 upgraded most of the hardware on this machine since opening this ticket
 (early Aug 2012). Now running Ubuntu OS on an Intel server processor and
 using the same ZOTAC GT 430. No problems playing these files with mplayer
 nor vlc but myth internal player has issues (see the videos posted on
 original ticket).
