Comment:

 I'm closing this one as invalid unless there is good reason to indicate
 otherwise.  The video sample in question averages 8500kbps, with spikes
 over 15000kbps, and the reported behavior is exactly what should be
 expected for software decoding on a 2.4GHz Core2Duo.  Edit your recording
 profile to force a constant bitrate around 10-12Mbps.
