 Turns out 0x1a is the latest firmware.  Alas video recorded under it has
 the same out-of-sync issue.
 Since vlc plays it just fine, it looks like I am caught: need newer
 firmware to work reliably with my stb, need really old firmware to have
 something that plays back acceptably in Myth.
