 Kenni has reported on the dev list that he hasn't seen this with
 0.24-fixes under Scientific Linux 6.  I have a laptop with the same mix
 that I have used both independently and as a frontend without these
 problems.  My SL6 is up to date; the fixes build is the most recent from
 ATrpms, dating from Nov 2011.

 This post is to get the info attached to the ticket.
