 I tried further since then and the problem on Scientific Linux's side was
 due to corruption of related libraries' installation structure for mythTV.
 I completely removed it and re-installed, succeeded to watch TV programs
 on it.

 As a result, did qtwebkit cause this issue although I didn't obviously
 know its root cause?
