 Got another deadlock in the backend last night.  Three programs all at
 22:00:00 attempted to record and all I got was one 376 byte file.

 This morning clients are reporting:

                         The response to MYTH_PROTO_VERSION was empty.
                         This happens when the backend is too busy to
 respond,
                         or has deadlocked in due to bugs or hardware
 failure.
