Comment:

 Bob, I've found a that while sometimes a little painful in the wallet,
 switching motherboard manufacturers can be an effective way to avoid
 interrupt problems.

 I'm closing this as invalid as it appears to be either a kernel driver bug
 or hardware bug, rather than a MythTV bug.
